Safety on set:
To make sure everyone was kept as safe as possible, we made sure to stay as a group when going to record or get equipment.
We asked our actor if he was allergic to any of the material we were going to use to make his SFX finger. We made sure to be prepared if he was anyway so we could wash it off quickly.
The knife we used when the actor was cutting boxes had no blade in it so he couldn't accidentally cut himself whilst filming.
when gathering equipment we all took a few things each so nobody had to take too much which could end in them hurting their back or damaging equipment.
We didn't mess around whilst recording or working as it could be dangerous with the amount of equipment in the garage such as sharp tools and glass.
We were sensible whilst filming outside of the school due to the amount of traffic around Cambridge.
I used a Gaussian blur and slowly faded the scene out and presented the film by writing out the name of the group and the title. I reversed part of the clip of our actor working and then let the same bit replay but normal, to extend the scene so the title can last longer to add more effect.
My job on set
My job was to record sound for later use. It was not my first time using a recorder so I felt I already had some experience with the job. I got good sound footage of vehicles such as cars and trains going by that I was able to edit together to make it sound like the cars were going past the camera at the same time as the sound.
I wouldn't say my job was the most important but sound quality is vital for a good video so the audience can understand what the actor is saying and there isn't any off putting loud noises that would deter the audience from viewing the video.

Screenshots of added effects:
I added a credit at the end once the character screamed. I did this because our actor did not scream and I had to add a scream in so when the actor screams, it fades out to the shed and the music gets louder, blocking out the scream and the credits begin to role. When the credits originally played, the song was at a part where it was just instrumental, so I cropped it out and made the chorus re play to add more of a comedic affect.
